Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, (22nd May 1859-7th July 1930) was a British writer and physician. Credit goes to him, as he created the character 'Sherlock Holmes'. All the fictions pertaining to the character (Sherlock Holmes) are all Crime fictions. His appreciable works are 'Stories of Sherlock Holmes', and 'The Lost World'. His wroks include plays, poetry, non-fiction, and historic novels. His first work (A Study in Scarlet) couldn't fetch any publisher. Once the situation had come, that whatever the prices Doyle asked for his works, every publisher was ready to pay him. The result was, Arthur Conan became one of the best paid authors of the world.Every story pertaining to the character Sherlock Holmes, seems very interesting, thrilling.
